The experience begins at our OleoAlmanzora facilities, where we'll welcome you in our Gourmet Shop. From there, we'll start the tour, following the guide's vehicle to one of our olive groves in Pulpí. Among the olive trees, you'll discover how they are cared for and when the olives are harvested at their optimal veraison stage, a key factor in obtaining a top-quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Back at our facilities, we'll tour the winery and bottling plant. During the tour, we'll learn about the olive oil production process, from the arrival of the olives after harvesting to their transformation into authentic olive juice, as well as the different commercial categories currently available on the market. The explanation is supported by video projections and graphic panels, allowing you to understand each stage of the process clearly, visually, and engagingly.
Before the tasting, visitors will participate in a
professional tasting simulation, just like certified tasters. Guided by our expert taster, they will learn to identify the positive attributes and potential
defects of an olive oil and how
these directly influence its correct classification within the different commercial categories.
After the tasting, we won't leave without the opportunity to sample all our
extra virgin olive oils and flavored condiments, accompanied by bread,
while their sensory nuances and possible
pairings are explained, putting into practice the knowledge acquired
during the tasting.

An Unmissable Journey Through Olive Oil, Mining,
History, and Landscape
"Jewels of Pulpí" is a full-day experience (6 to 8 hours), a self-guided tour that invites visitors to explore the municipality's most unique sites in their own car.
The day begins at 10:00 AM at OleoAlmanzora, where visitors will enjoy a guided tour of their farms and facilities, as well as a delicious tasting of extra virgin olive oil and condiments, served with bread.
The itinerary then continues with a guided visit to the Black Room of Luminescent Minerals, a stunning space where geology comes alive through minerals that react to ultraviolet light, revealing unique colors and shapes that illustrate the area's rich mineral heritage.
After this visit, you will have free time for lunch, with a pre-reserved table at one of the selected local restaurants, allowing you to leisurely enjoy the local cuisine and surroundings.
In the afternoon (usually at 4:00 PM), one of the highlights of the tour will take place: a guided visit inside the Mina Rica mine, culminating in the view of the Giant Geode, an internationally significant site that offers insights into the history of mining and showcases the largest geode in the world discovered to date.
The day will conclude with free admission to the Castle of San Juan de los Terreros, a historic fortified battery with spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea and the coasts of Murcia and Almería; the perfect way to end the tour, enjoying the scenery and tranquility of the surroundings.
